Job Aid: Procedures for Reporting Academic Misconduct
I identified a performance gap in how instructors following university-mandated procedures for reporting academic misconduct.
Following university reporting procedures incorrectly puts instructors – and more broadly, the institution – at risk of legal action. Students enrolled in the university have rights, and so any pursuance of sanctions due to academic misconduct must carefully adhere to university guidelines and be reported in order to give students due process and the opportunity to appeal.
To design this job aid, I wrote learning objectives and training plan, developed a storyboard, researched the content and gathered internal resources, and then used Adobe Illustrator and Articulate Rise to create the course.
