Raised in the Central Valley of California, I’ve lived and worked in Thailand, Massachusetts, and Indiana. I moved to beautiful Spokane, Washington in 2023 and now work at the Washington State University College of Nursing. I draw from my experience teaching in higher education to create learning solutions for a variety of contexts.

My time at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, and Washington State University in Spokane, WA, has given me opportunities to explore my strengths in designing learning solutions for the most challenging contexts. I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of learners and stakeholders with different needs and priorities; one of my strengths is finding common ground to meet shared goals. I enjoy the collaborative nature of instructional design, and believe that it is critical for creating evidence-based solutions that work, whether that be in higher education, corporate, or government environments.

I also enjoy coffee, Peleton rides, listening to podcasts, reading cozy mysteries, spending time with my husband, Joe, and snuggling my cat, Scout.
